Second meeting of the Serbian National Working Group

The second session of the Serbian National Working Group took place in Belgrade at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Serbia (MAEPS) on July 11, 2014.

The 11 participants represented EURAC, the REC, the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA), the MAEPS, the Ministry of Mining and Energy, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade. Following introductions by members of the working group, a brief overview of the LOCSEE project was given by EURAC, covering the project's main objectives, geographical coverage, tasks, main deliverables and progress as of June 2014. A representative from the REC explained the objectives and structure of the Good Practice Platform and presented examples from Austria and Italy. An overview of the Regional Policy Network was also presented. A representative from the MAEPS then gave a summary of the Regional State-of-the-Art Analysis. To close the meeting, EURAC and the REC led a discussion about future steps and a schedule for LOCSEE activities.
